I started Blackmarx.com 5 years ago as a place to showcase my art. After joining myspace I found a few friends that were painters and writer. I then set out to make Blackmarx a community site. My first attempt was a bit flawed and was abandoned. I later learned of the blogging software Wordpress. After setting it up for my girlfriend to post her poetry I became very excited in using it myself. I found I had many things to share that some maybe interested in. I started creating regular posts and began enjoying the sharing of words. I later found Hubpages where I learned about Google Adsense and many other affiliate programs. Now I learned that I could make some extra dough from my articles. I am having a wonderful time on Hubpages and I usually read and share the article of those I follow. As great as Hubpages is I needed something with a bit more control so I focused my attention back to my blog.

A new multi site feature was added to Wordpress. Which allowed me to manage multiple blog site from one installation. I found this very exciting because my interests are so numerous and wide spread that one blog site became a cluttered mess of different topics. I now have a number of blogs all hosted at blog.blackmarx.com.

9. Control over the look a feel with an assortment of themes some of which are fully customizable.

10. It is Free. All we ask is you write good content and spread the word.
